WJ Roof Rack: Jeep Grand Cherokee Roof Rack 1999 – 2004 by KevinsOffroad.com

Jeep WJ Grand Cherokee Roof Rack KOR-4009

Are you looking for a Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ Roof Rack that looks great and works even better?

KOR has a round tube version of the old-fashioned utility roof racks that every Jeep owner needs at one point or another.  Our Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ Roof Rack is built like no other… sturdy, solid, and lightweight (59 – 68lbs depending on version).  We’ve overbuilt them so that you’ll have room for suitcases, Rubbermaid containers, Hi-Lift jack, spare tire, and anyhting else you need to fit up there.  They also offer exclusive features that no other roof racks do; one being the steel mesh flooring.  We either leave the area above the moon roof open to let the sun in, or add a fully welded mesh floor for those who don’t have moon roofs.  These are the ONLY roof racks on the market built *SPECIFICALLY* to fit the roof of Grand Cherokees!  The rest are just generic racks with bolt-on mounts that happen to fit.  They aren’t racks designed with our fully welded and integrated Grand Cherokee roof mounts!

Our Jeep WJ Grand Cherokee Roof Rack features four built-in forward facing light tabs, two rear facing tabs, an integrated Hi-Lift jack mount on one side, shovel mount on the other, And an integrated spare tire mount that will accommodate a 37″ tire on top!

These racks are extremely labor intensive with numerous compound bends and fish-mouthed tube angles.  It would run well over a thousand bucks to replicate at a local fab shop IF you already had the mechanical drawings complete (an additional several hundred dollars).  To keep your cost down, we run these in batches, so chances are we’ll have them in stock when you order.

Our price includes mounting hardware to attach the rack to your factory roof rails at NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE!  Some other shops charge upwards of $75 for the mounting hardware (Sure, like anyone could use the roof rack without mounting it, LOL).  If you compare our rack with other racks, apples to apples, we know you’ll find our rack is an EXTREMELY fair price.  Our Jeep WJ Grand Cherokee Roof Racks carry KOR’s typical reputation for overbuilding.  They look cool enough to get your rig notice around town and on the trail. No one else has anything that offers our style and features, especially at this price!

Since almost everything is already included with our Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ Roof Racks, the only thing you need to decide is if you want the area above your moon roof left open to the sky, or if you want the additional 7.25 sq. ft. of storage space, and if you want the Classic with sides, or the Platform-style to attach a roof top tent and your Overlanding gear to

On a difficulty scale of 1 – 10, installation of the Jeep WJ Grand Cherokee Roof Rack is about a 3, and mounts up the first time in about an hour.  Once everything is installed, the rack can be removed or remounted in about 10 minutes.  See Installation instructions.

If you need to measure it for your garage, the rack is approximately 73″ x 40″ x 7″ at its tallest and widest.  The Classic Safari rack will extend 7″ taller than your factory roof rails.  The Platform is only 1.5″ tall.
