Everyone
wants to be assured when they buy that they aren't going to be
ripped off by some fly-by-night company who is in business to
pad their own pockets, customers be damned. I'm putting
together a collection of testimonials from past customers who
have been treated fairly and will make future purchases from me.
But, to keep it fair, I've also asked anyone who has had any
negative experiences with me to please e-mail me so that I can
post up their side of the story also to help keep me on my toes.
I challenge other companies in the industry to take this risk as
well since we, as customers, would all benefit from more of a
commitment to doing business ethically.

This
email is probably long overdue, but I just wanted to get
some driving in on the new set-up that you helped me
with. I would like to say THANKS for all your help and
advice. Since I have installed the sway bars and the
2.5” lift using the springs and the MX adjustable shocks
along with the improved track bar. That Jeep couldn’t be
anymore stable. I can’t believe the handling performance
and just how much it really increased. I can take a
normal residential street corner 90 deg turn at 30 mph
and it corners like a slot car. There is absolutely no
sway to it anymore. Up here in North Dakota we get quite
a bit of wind on a normal basis and I do a lot of
highway driving, I have noticed that when driving now
you feel the whole truck being pushed sideways versus
feeling the body roll over the top before being pushed.
Since the lift and upgrades I have installed a
Superchips tuner also for the 4.7l V8. What a
combination, now I have extreme increase in stability
and power to go with it.
I
highly recommend anyone out there to save there money,
listen to Kevin and go for the proper set up when
lifting there rigs, you can’t go wrong! THANKS KEVIN!!
and please pass on my thanks to your whole team there
for the great email contact and shipping information,
couldn’t ask for much more from a business. Your
loyal customer, Paul Remillong
P.S. I
attached some pics of my Jeep so you can see what you
helped build. The ones with the silver rims are of it in
stock mode with 29” tires. The black rims are with the
31” Bridgestone Duelers A/T.
I hope
you don’t mind that if I have anymore questions I will
definitely contact you first and see if you can help me
with any parts before I go anywhere else. OH -
one other thing is that there is absolutely no death
wobble at all that I have noticed so far! WOOHOO! just
one less thing to worry about. Dec 30, 2006

Praise to Kevin, for his help with my front Track Bar
Conversion purchase. After I put myself in the position of
being in the middle of a lift install and not having the
correct parts, Kevin came through at probably one of his
busiest times, with service that is just wonderful.
Days before his European Vacation, ( they should make a
movie) I purchased the Track Bar and had it shipped next
day air, but unfortunately it came damaged, not thru
any fault of Kevin. After speaking with him, he sent
me another. Overnight. I cannot put into words how
frustrated I was with the way that week was going, mainly
due to my own stupidity during the lift install on my ZJ.
Kevin made things all better, made me feel good. Kevin's
help and service was simply the best. I don't know what
else I can say about him and also do not forget the truly
wonderful Cassie. Cassie, you're amazing, thank for your
help. Now I know there is a strong woman behind every man!
And the rest of the gang, thanks to you all. Kevin's
Offroad is the best place for parts and customer
service. (8/22/06)
~Greg in CO~
A word about the
change from the factory bar and bracket to yours – WOW!!!
The steering feels almost as tight and accurate as my
buddy’s Boxster! And the constant clunking, shaking, and
imminent death-wobble that plagued nearly every minute of
travel, gone! There is a HUGE difference; the truck feels
better than new! In all my years of playing with cars, I
don’t think I’ve installed anything that’s made as
significant a difference as your track bar conversion!
Definitely money well spent. As always, I will continue to
shout your name and website from the rooftops to every Jeep
person I find!

I just wanted to let everyone know about the
excellent service I received from Kevin's Offroad, based in
Arizona. About 2 months ago, I added a 2.5" lift kit to my
WJ. The kit included spacer pucks and RE Monotube shocks.
The spacers came from Kevin's shop and the shocks were sent
directly from RE. Long story short, I received the wrong
front shocks. Kevin was more than accommodating in trying to
find solutions to my problem. Unfortunately, I had to find
replacement shocks the week of the camp out, and RE fell
through on sending them in time. I ended up buying
replacement front shocks locally (thanks, Bob - I love the
OMEs) to get me through the weekend. Not only did Kevin
allow me to return the incorrect front shocks almost 6 weeks
after I received them, he also allowed me to return the rear
shocks without question, and applied the return amount for
both sets to my next purchase.
Kevin has proven to me that there are reputable online
vendors out there who are concerned with their customer's
satisfaction. He was excellent throughout entire
problem-solving process, and was fantastically friendly and
patient with me every time we talked. I've just ordered
springs from him, and am confident that he will be sure I'm
taken care of. While I appreciate and will continue to
patronize my local 4x4 shops, if you decide to purchase
online, I strongly suggest checking Kevin's site out 1st.

Kevin, I just want to
say thank you after last weekend. Your Sliderz did their
job, several times over. I counted at least three separate
times that your great product kept my doors straight and
paint intact. May have been more than that, but it was
hard to tell for sure which hard parts were hitting rock
sometimes. I have included a picture of a shale bank being
held at bay. It did look hungry for Jeep that day.
Also, that track bar conversion is outstanding. Flexes
like a gymnast, and no death wobble, even with the sway
disconnected at 60mph. I would NEVER have considered doing
that without it.
You are always my first stop when it is time for new
goodies for my ZJ. Thanks for making such great products
and offering everything you carry at such good prices. Not
inexpensive, but nothing worthwhile is. You get what you
pay for, and with Kevin's Offroad, you are paying for the
best. Thanks for continuing to
produce and offer the best equipment for the Grands. It is
nice having a vendor that I can order from with the same
confidence as walking into the parts store on the corner. 9/28/04

I purchased your RockSliderz in February 2005 and got
them installed as soon as I got them. Just wanted to let
you guys know that I ran the Badlands for Winterfest with
NAXJA (I'm a member) and some trails here in Ohio with the
"Ohio 4x4 Trailriders" (also a member of) since I
installed the RockSliderz. These things have held up
great! To rock, trees, and the ground! I will be doing
more business with you all again in the near future, need
some more protection for my XJ. I have suggested your
products, and commented on your awesome customer service
to various websites. Just wanted to let you know :),
keep up the good work fellas. Anyway, thank you for a
great product and I look forward to doing business with
you all very soon again. Thanks, Jeremy Bradshaw 4/13/05

Hi, I just wanted to email you about how satisfied I am in
the purchase of the Skid/Tranny member that I
purchased from KevinsOffroad.com. The install went as
slick as turkey poop on a pump handle. No issues except I
was short one bolt for the tranny mount, and short 4 bolts
on the lower cross member plate, but as luck has it my
jeep buddy brought 4 bolts that were a direct fit.
Anyway, I just took it to Moab for a trip up poison
spider mesa, and the gold bar rim, and on down to bull
canyon. I tried as hard as I could to scratch that
crossmember up, but some how tru it all, I could only
scrape up my hitch (time to get your rear bumper!). Thanks
again. Luke Burbank 3/30/05

"Your customer service is by far the greatest customer
service I have experienced anywhere. And that's not just
with Jeep parts, that's every item that I have ever bought
in my life. Normally I wouldn't have even thought of sending
an e-mail to a vendor asking about advice on shipping an
item of yours that I was reselling because I sold my Jeep,
but with you, I wasn't worried about anything because I knew
that you would get back to me the same way you got back to
me when I was buying them. So, again, Thanks So Much!
I read on your site that you are expanding again.
Congratulations. With your service and support, it isn't
hard to see where your company has come from and where it
will be going in the future...UP!"

Kevin, Thanks for the Sliderz.
I picked up a set a couple of months ago and couldn't be
happier. They've withstood some serious abuse and have been
able to support my entire XJ while up on rocks. They
served their purpose on the first run with my newly lifted
XJ while riding with larger and locked TJ's and YJ's,
getting me through technical obstacles without body damage.
You should really raise the price; they are that good!

on there and can't wait to hook up some lights. Thank you
so much for your skills and creativity! This thing is
gorgeous! I'll have to send you some pictures of the ZJ
sometime for your site.

Kevin and Mike, I would like to
thank both of you for making such a great product. I
installed the radiator support today and it fit right there
without any trimming at all and it only took me 40 minutes
to do it by myself. I would say it worth the wait. I also
amazed with the strength of that rad support, I lifted the
front of the jeep by using a small bottle jack and it hold
the weight of the jeep just fine (no dent or flex). I
definitely will buy your product again (looking forward to
purchase your rock rails but only after I have enough money
to fix my transmission
).
Now I have more confident to recommend your products to
my friends because I have seen the quality of your product.
Once again, thank you for such a great product. 9/20/04

Two
things Kevin: One, not sure if you are aware how popular
your name is on the trail and how your name has become a
saying on the trail. I have introduced it into my "trail
vocab" after installing your Rock Sliderz along with, OOOOo
this is going to hurt, and AAAAAAAAa sh*t...
You
would be happy to hear through out the woods at GSE you here
"THANKS KEVIN" right after a big "CLUNK" when the tire comes
off a rock and slams into your Sliderz and we push through
it and all is well, no damage. I know I feel a lot more
confident on the trails.
So, I
want to say thanks to you, in saving my sanity and my truck
from lots of damage in June and since then. Thanks again,
what a difference. Those suckers can take a beating and all
it requires is a little sprit from a can of spray paint from
the dollar store. WHAT A DEAL... 9/01/04

Hey Kevin, your products are awesome. You may find this
odd, but I don't even own a Jeep. My best friend has a '93 ZJ
and I've helped to put many of your products on it, and would
like to say that they are the best-manufactured products I
have come across. I myself drive a '94 Toyota Pickup and have
yet to come across a manufacturer with as well-built and easy
to install products for my rig. Keep up the awesome work for
all of those Jeep guys and maybe one day I'll get a ZJ so I
can have that LA kit.

purchase to date.. Thanks for supplying such a great product...

I just put on the XJ track bar and bracket to get rid of a
bad case of death wobble. What a well engineered product, Jeep
should have built them that way in the first place. Since they
didn't, I'm glad Kevin did. I was initially worried about
finding a good track bar for a XJ with no lift, but Kevin said
it would work and it did. My wife even noticed the tighter
steering the first time she drove it after I put it on. Way to
go Kevin, keep up the good work.

Kevin, just wanted to say "thanks" for
putting together a great package. I've had the
headers/cat/muffler/exhaust package installed for a couple of
months now and I can definitely feel an increase in power. Oddly
enough, my gas mileage has gone up by about 5% too which was an
unexpected bonus. The exhaust note is a little loud during
aggressive acceleration, but has a nice throaty rumble at idle
and cruising that I like. Jeep starts faster and smoother now
too. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a
little performance increase. Thanks again, Dwayne

Kevin, Thank you for a great
purchasing experience! I appreciate your guidance and expertise.
I have a 98 ZJ 5.2 and recently had to replace the engine and I
needed a few things from you. I had read on the Jeep Forum about
Kolak Headers. I had never heard of Kolak and following your
advice and that of others on the Forum decided to give it a try.
I was able to order the Kolak Headers through you and you got my
Mopar performance computer, a Hi-Flow Carsound converter, a
Hi-Flow Flowmaster 70 series 3” muffler, and an ignition upgrade
package from KevinsOffroad.com as well. The Headers are chrome
and make the engine perform great if I had stopped there it
would have been worth every penny. The ignition upgrade package
that I got from you should be featured on your site. The spark
plug wires, coil wire, the plugs, and other parts that are
included work extremely well together. The Jeep already had K&N
intake mods so the result…The result is nothing less than
amazing. The power band extends well into the upper range now
and I can always hear and feel a real difference with the
exhaust. There is a low end torque increase that can be felt.
The performance computer seems to be learning the new set up and
gains in power daily as the new mods settle in. The Grand
Cherokee has a mellow sound to it. There is nothing in town that
sounds like my Jeep. Thank you for your help! P.S. In
addition to the above the OME steering stabilizer that you
feature is a must. Thanks for great service and products.

~Tony Howe~
I'd like to
compliment you on the quality and pricing of your accessories.
I have recently purchased a set of your Rock Sliderz and I am
extremely pleased with the quality, style and overall bad ass
protection it gives my jeep. Since I have installed the
Sliderz there have been multiple people who have asked where I
got them, as they too are looking for rocker protection. I told
them that I searched for a many weeks looking at different
styles, sizes, pros and cons of each and finally decided on
Kevin's Sliderz. I told them that I wanted high quality, good
prices, (sorry, excellent prices), strong as hell and would able
to take some abuse. I then told them of the price and they
couldn't believe it. I also explained that they are quite a bit
stronger than most rocker panel protection and I have no worries
about taking a hit for the team on them.

Kevin, a few months back
while wheeling @ Tellico along w/ some fellow ZJ's I severely
smashed/dented my MOPAR Nerf bars with a bolder that jumped out
at me. ;) Knowing that I am as much into aesthetics as I am
robustness, I had a journey on my hands. I had previously
seen the square rails but they didn't really strike me and then
someone suggested that I take a look at your newer round Rock
Sliderz. Much to my happiness...they were exactly what I had
imagined wanting. AND, that last trip to Tellico I was also
loaded to the rim w/ camping gear so the roof rack was looking
pretty appetizing as well. At the time, you were going through
the whole moving process and so I had to wait a day or two
longer than normal. When I told you that I really needed
the stuff by that weekend because I was entering a 4x4/Truck
show, you produced and delivered with GODS SPEED and I was able
to easily install both the Roof Rack and Sliderz the evening
before. Net result, I won the BEST SUV in SHOW trophy because
your products truly are awesome looking. BUT, even more
importantly...they work and as long as I keep a spare can of
spray paint around for the next show I'm sure they'll bring next
years trophy home as well ;). Kevin, thank you soooo much for
creating top notch products and for providing the best customer
experience of anyone I've dealt with while building my rig!
Sincerely, Rafe from Atlanta
PS: I think your newest sticker/logo
has "Rubicon tested & MOAB approved"...you need to add Tellico
on there somewhere as it's the toughest place on the East coast
and your products made it look easy!!! :)

~Eric Kohl~
Kevin, received the bar in on Tuesday.
After fighting the lower trackbar bolt for two hours
decided to go and buy a sawzall to make the removal easier
(turns out the bolt was rusted to the metal bushing). Then took
another hour installing yours. As expected, had to cut off about
1/2" of the bar due to only having a 4" lift. My only concern
after install was the axle hitting the upper bracket when
flexing, but put it up on the loading dock yesterday and it
never came close to hitting (had faith in your design, just have
to check some things out for myself, especially before I got out
on the trail). I wish you had the bar back in Sept when I bought
my lift pieces, it would have saved me all of the rattles of the
Heim joint. I am so pleased that I will definitely be passing
along recommendations. Thanks for a great product
and superb customer support.
========================================== ~Brian Auten~
Kevin, I bought your radiator support and
tow shackles about 2 months ago and love it. I was kind of leery
at first about trimming my bumper , but I took my time and I
really like the look the front of my ZJ has now. I am also
saving a little money on the side for a set of your rock
sliders. I have enclosed a few pics of me wheeling and putting
the new trimmed bumper to use. I haven't had to use the tow
shackles yet. Thanks for the great product and I will be doing
business with you again soon.
Thank You, Brian Auten, Beaufort, South

P.S. I am even sporting one of your
stickers too!

~Kelly

Kevin, Thanks for doing what you've done.
I've been in the whole "ZJ" thing about three years now, and I
have to say, everything has came along way. When I bought
my '94 ZJ, I knew what I wanted before I even signed the title
over. Since I didn't make much money, I had to save up for
everything. I bought a used front bumper from Corey and
Cristi Bauer, and they sold me Cristi's old, beat up
sliderz (one of your first set you ever made). Cristi had
actually broke them (she can break anything, hell, she rolled
her Jeep :), and Corey welded them back together. I threw
them on my Jeep almost two years ago, and they've been
thru hell and back. They have dents in them the size of
softballs, the mounts are all tweaked, I've ever started
to loosen the bolts going into the "frame", but the
sliderz are still tough as nails, and with a fresh coat of
rattle can black, they look better then the rest of the
Jeep.
The best story I have about these things is actually pretty funny. I was
parked at a local grocery store, and I saw a lady in a brand new
Lexus LS430 park dangerously close to my ZJ. Well, she kicked
open her door at about 9000mph, and I heard this "BANG" about
50ft away, and then my alarm going off. I ran over to see what
happend, and there was a square indent on the edge of her door
about an inch into the door :). She proceded to look at her car,
look at mine, look at me, then drive away at a high rate of
speed. So even if you don't wheel your ZJ, XJ, WJ, and you
just want to keep it free of door dings, these things go
one step better, they bite back. Thanks again Kevin for awesome
products.

I got it installed this weekend (June '03),
and I am VERY impressed. I can't believe how much tighter the
steering is and the rig just feels so much more stable. I had
really bad wandering, and it is almost completely gone! Not to
mention, no DW since the install. Only time will tell, but I
think I have it licked. You have another "Lifelong Customer"!!

I got my rock rails about a month ago (May
'03). They
are awesome. They were shipped promptly and arrived on
schedule.. I can not get over how easy they were to
install and how strong they are.. There are no rocks here in
Louisiana but there is lots of deep mud.. I use my Hi-Lift on
the Sliderz all the time.. I have lifted my ZJ right out of the
mud by the Sliderz.. I am very happy with them. and I tell all
of my friends..
Thanks a million Kevin..

~Rob Walton~
Dear Kevin, I bought my ZJ new 5 years ago
and since have bought and installed a plethora of aftermarket
products. Some parts worked, some parts didn't. Some fit, some
didn't. Some you keep, some you throw in the trash. I can't tell
you that your track bar conversion was the first aftermarket
track bar I've purchased. I can tell you without a doubt that as
long as I own this Jeep I'll never replace it again.
Installation was a breeze. The simple yet superbly functional
redesign is outstanding. My Grand hasn't driven like this since
it was stock. I truly believe you get what you pay for and by no
means was this bar inexpensive. But, it is worth every penny to
end up with a lifted Grand Cherokee that drives and handles the
way it does now. I am truly a satisfied customer and I can't
wait to purchase your incredible looking roof rack in the very
near future.
Sincerely, Rob Walton - Vice President Wilson's Metal
Exchange, Inc.

BTW, I love the Track Bar
Conversion that I bought from you last fall. It's solid as a
rock and really provides a lot of extra flex. For your
testimonial page, I was one of the ones that had a problem with
the mounting angle of the bracket on the conversion kit. I was
extremely pleased with the customer service that you provided
when I had the problem. You responded very promptly and made
good on the problem right away. There was no question in my mind
about ordering from you again when it came time to add some
rocker protection.
Thanks, Steve Zimmerman

~Shawn Kayser~
After an early morning
(before work) stuck, that resulted in a little dent in my
rocker, I decided to get a set of rock rails that would not
bend (like that damn plastic did) on my new WJ. I found
Kevin's site and was impressed, so I ordered them. Drilling
and marking the holes took a little longer than I thought, but
they went on without any problems. Let me tell you, these
rock rails have been used and abused over and over again here
in the Black Hills of SD! The first time you hear granite
scraping off the paint is quite a shock! I have dropped off
of rocks harder than planned many times and laughed about it!
These Rock Sliderz have greatly improved the off road
capabilities of my WJ! Instead of a big rock turning me
around, I simply drive the tire up, slide over the rock and
off. Granted I have been over my head on a few trails which
resulted in some front bumper scratches, skid plate terror,
and control arm scratches. I couldn't have been there in the
first place without the Sliderz. People have had their doubts
on the trail that a stock WJ would not make it; but I have
proven them wrong with the help of the Rock Sliderz and
245/75/16 Cooper ST's. It's not a Rubicon, but it'll work for
me!

Hi Kevin,
I recently installed a pair
of your Sliderz on my '00 Grand Cherokee. We tagged along
on an off-road excursion with a local 4WD club today (Feb 8,
2003). Since we were in the newbie group, we didn't expect very
serious stuff, but we ended up taking a "wrong turn" which
put us on a long downhill boulder-strewn road. The Sliderz
saved our rig! We just motored over the boulders, listened
to the paint scraping off the Sliderz, and motored on. At
first, the sound was awful. After a while, once we
realized it was the sound of the Sliderz doing their job, we
found the whole experience very comforting. Thanks again
for the Sliderz. I just thought you might want to hear
about their successful initiation. Ken Dobyns Portland, OR

As a Jeep enthusiast for many
years (read 25) it was time to upgrade to a longer wheelbase for comfort and ease of
carrying the little people, especially on those long treks. The Jeep
Grand Cherokee was the ticket. After dumping a gazillion bucks into the
motor, suspension & armor the rockers were the next logical items to
protect. Kevin's Jeep Parts offers rocker panel protection built to
last and priced right. I've had them on for some time now and they've done
a great job fending off ledge and boulders New England is known for. Get
real creative on trail and they work VERY well as pivot points to
compensate for the longer wheelbase! I never leave home without
them! ... and by the way, that Kevin dude ain't half bad either!
I would like to add that I've had several
occasions to have a personal chat with the man himself... his
commitment to the customer is as solid as the product he builds.
I wouldn't hesitate to make another purchase. In my opinion,
Kevin belongs to that small cadre' of committed businessmen
(like
Nick of Kolak/Multitronics fame
and Dirk of DPG Off-road) who insists on treating the customer
right before and after the sale.

Hey Kevin, its me, Tom from Va. Don't know
if you remember, but I was one of the first to go ahead with
your new "round" version of Sliderz. And as such there was a
kink with the new bars where they required a slight adjustment
prior to installation. You were very "upfront" and quick to
assume responsibility for the oversight and ultimately
reimbursed me for my "out of pocket" expenses, no if, ands or
buts. The way you handled my customer service issue is truly
unique in this day and time and I plan on being a loyal
customer for many years to come.

I was apparently the second
buyer in the introduction of Kevin's rear bumper for the ZJ.
Not only did I receive a great price for a superior quality
product that obviously has a great amount of time invested in
it, but I also received outstanding customer service. Kevin
kept me informed along every step of the way, and had the
bumper ready to ship out much quicker than I had imagined
would be possible. Additionally, he provided excellent install
directions with the product and great support via email after
the purchase had long been completed. This bumper has
continued to perform time after time on the trail. It is
without a doubt the strongest part of my Jeep. I will purchase
from KJP again and again, and can vouch that if you do the
same you will be more than pleased with the both the product
and the service that is provided.

~J.D. Horne~
When I
first bought my ’98 ZJ the first
thing that I looked for (even before tires) was rocker
protection. I was new to the Jeep
scene at the time so I asked around for advice on some good
rocker skids. 9/10 of the responses that
I got pointed to Kevin Fell and his “Kevin’s Rock
Sliderz”.
At the time, Kevin had just started up his “little” slider
business and had only sent out a few orders of his
Sliderz
so I only had a few pictures to
help make my decision. After looking at a few brands of
sliders on the market, I thought
Kevin’s LP-1’s were THE best… period. They also cost about
$100 less than the others did. I promptly sent him my payment
and within about 7 days I had two
pieces of heavy steel sitting on my doorstep.
Installation is a snap. Cheap spray paint, a floor jack,
drill, and sockets are all that you need. There is really no
need in spending too much on spray paint because after all,
they are rock sliders! A few scratches here and there
are easily fixed with a spray or
two of Krylon spray paint.
I have since sold my first set of
Sliderz
to a fellow Jeeper in order to try
out his new set of round tube
Sliderz.
Aside from the difference in appearance,
they’re still the same old thing… well crafted, heavy
duty rocker protection.
Fast forward
almost two years and “Kevin’s” is now the
guy to go to for a lot more than just rockers. His roof rack, for one, is an incredible piece of work. This is
no squared off aluminum job, this is the real thing; a
streamlined heavy-duty roof rack which accommodates lights, a
sunroof, and even up to a 37” spare tire with gobs of room to
spare. If weight is an issue, the rack only weighs 59lbs.
Compare that with other steel racks and
it’s only a couple of pounds more. A small price to
pay when your aluminum rack will just get
dented and ripped off by that low limb!
Finally yet
importantly, customer support!
When I sold my last set of
Sliderz,
I forgot to send the bolts with them. I
called Kevin asking to order some to mail to the buyer. When
I asked how much, he replied,
“don’t worry about it.” …and they say customer service is an
ancient declaration!

I purchased my sliders
for my 98 GC 5.9'er after reading about other folks having
good experiences with them. I love them. You were
knowledgeable about your product, knew what modifications I
would have to make to the Jeep to get them on (removing the
niner cladding), and the parts were as advertised- fairly
easy to install. I've had them on almost a year and they
have saved me more than once. Not to mention it makes it a
whole lot easier to rotate tires! Can't tell you how many
comments I've gotten on them. And it's always fun to count
scrapes where some yahoo has parked too close to me in a lot
and decided to dent their door on my skids.
Thanks for making a great
product!

I bought Kevin's Sliders for my XJ on the
recommendation of a mutual friend. I was getting ready
to go on a run where rocker protection was not only
recommended, but nearly mandatory. With only a good word from
our friend, Kevin sent me a set of the newer design Sliderz
for my XJ and I was able to get them mounted up before the
run. I ordered on a Monday, and had the Sliderz delivered &
mounted on Thursday. I paid Kevin the following Monday :) On
the run, they performed (and are still performing) superbly.
Never more than a slight scuff or scrape, and out here in So
Cal, I get plenty of opportunities to drag them over and
around rocks. I have come down hard on the Sliderz on several
occasions, with no damage to the Jeep or the Sliderz. I have,
and will continue to, recommend KevinsOffroad's Sliderz.
As soon as there are more items available (particularly cargo
racks and bumpers) for the XJ, I will consider them first,
before looking at products from any other company.
Thanks Kevin!

Hey Kevin, thanks for the chance to finally
share my thoughts on your Sliderz. Since I installed the
Sliderz I have had the pleasure of beating them through the
boulders of the Rocky Mountains and sliding them across the
sandstone of the desert. In every case, accidental and
intentional, they have exceeded my expectations of what rocker
protection should be. Literally they are the toughest thing on
my Jeep and by far take the most beating. After purchasing the
product I had sent an e-mail to Kevin, his response was within
a day and I had found a new resource in ZJ 4-wheeling , a
person not only willing to share other tech info but happy to
help out another fellow Jeeper. I appreciate the product, the
help, and look forward to the day I see you on the trail!
Thanks again, Eli Evans

My name is Steve Wiggins, and I recently
purchased a set of the Rock Sliderz for my '91 Cherokee Sport.
They are terrific! The install simple, they fit perfectly
(once I figured out the left vs. right thing) and they look
great. I coated mine with
POR-15, semi-gloss black
and put some non-skid on the top. The price was great for a
truly great product, and although I did not actually meet
Kevin in person, just through e-mail, he seemed to be an
honest, straight forward Jeep enthusiast who was very helpful
in getting me started in Jeeping. Keep up the good work Kevin!
Sincerely,
Steve Wiggins

I want to write a quick note on what an
excellent product you have and your service is by far some of
the best I have come across in a long time. I have tried to
really thrash them and so far I have not been able to do
anymore that scratch the paint. I also recommended to a
friend that he get a pair of your Rock Sliderz for his XJ and
he as I am very pleased with them! Very well built and good
looking design. I will be ordering more of your products
and will continue to preach to all Jeepers about your product!
My girlfriend wishes you made Sliderz for her full size Jimmy
but I told her she would have to settle for a set for her XJ.
Thank you very much Kevin for an outstanding product.

~Ed Wheeler~
I first heard of Kevin on the
Jeeps Unlimited message board, and within a couple
of days decided to order a set of his Rock Sliderz for my 1996
Grand Cherokee. Upon receiving them, I was very impressed with
the simple yet strong design, the heavy duty materials, and
the quality of the construction. I painted them with POR-15,
and installed them in a couple of hours. The install went
nearly without incident, except for a slight problem with the
front brackets that was remedied with a die grinder. I
notified Kevin, and he informed me that there was indeed a
problem with my set. I am positive that he would have replaced
them if I had asked, but as I was able to correct the problem
easily enough, there was no harm done. I have since
corresponded with Kevin several times regarding his
roof rack
and
rear bumper. I intend on buying the roof rack when I have
the funds available, as I feel it is the best rack I have seen
on the market. I hope in the future his rear bumper is a bit
more attractive, and not so hard core off road, but I respect
his current bumper for what it is. I plan on doing business
with Kevin whenever possible in the future.
Thank you, Kevin, for all
you do for the Jeep community!

I bought a set of Kevin's Sliderz for my WJ
to protect the rockers and to use as a step for my wife (who
is 5'3"). What I found was that these Sliderz are HARD CORE
protection for the Jeep. If you are a function AND form kind
of person, these Sliderz are just right for you. They are
really strong, and I have no doubt that I can go bounce my
Jeep off of rocks 7 days a week, if I want to, without any
damage to the rockers. I had some issues with the mounting for
the WJ and Kevin was really interested in helping me figure
out the best way to mount them properly. Even though Kevin has
made tons of they've been mounted and trail tested with no
problems at all, I thought I had a better way. He was
extremely interested in my thoughts for making them better,
even though I only wound up making them a little different.
Anyway, I can't give anybody a stronger recommendation that
I'd give Kevin. He stands behind his work, is |
