The 2007+ Jeep Wrangler (JK), is an improvement over previous models, however it does have it's faults. The inadequate bracing of the factory track bar brackets is just one particularly troublesome problem. A startling number of Jeeps, both modified as well as stock, have been disabled on the trail when the factory track bar bracket separated from the axle housing. JK owners have reported this problem on both the front and rear axle housings. Our Jeep JK Wrangler Rear Track Bar Brace is a highly effective and economical solution this problem. Constructed of high strength 7-guage steel, CNC precision cut and formed, the brace fits perfectly over the factory mount, wraps under the axle housing and attaches on the opposite side. The heavy duty design connects the factory track bar mount to the axle with 45 degree reinforcement wings. This triangulated mounting configuration distributes track bar forces over a greater area to resist lateral forces that would otherwise tear the weak factory mount from the axle. Not only does this brace add additional strength, but also provides a smooth, snag-free surface to slide over obstacles. Furthermore, the design eliminates the need for awkward overhead welding during installation, and improves weld penetration.
